• Hold the key: you raise your right hand and a blood crystal forms above your head, lying point forward like a spear, six small fragments circling it.
• After 0.6 s, as long as you hold, it draws your blood gauge into itself: one point every 0.2 s. Each point makes it bigger and stronger.
• With all 10 points it becomes the great crystal, 3 blocks across. Where it lands it explodes: everything within 3.5 blocks is hurt and thrown back (no block is broken).
• Release to throw it (it leaves on its own after 3 s). It flies like a thrown stone, spinning, point first, aimed where you look, and shatters on the ground, a wall or a body.
• It can be guarded or parried. In Blood Crystal Form the gauge is spent, so the crystal stays small.

Only the great crystal's explosion throws particles: shards of crystal in its own reds.
